Campbellsville University announces tenure and promotions for faculty

Campbellsville, KY (08/11/2021) — Several Campbellsville University employees have received their tenure and promotions from the university's tenure and promotion committee and the academic committee of the Board of Trustees.

The professors who received tenure are as follows:

Dr. Miranda Beam, associate professor of chemistry; Dr. Amanda Ewing, associate professor of business and economics; Dr. Jennifer Garrison, associate professor of education ministries; Kelly Joplin, associate professor of social work; Dr. Richard Kessler, professor of environmental science/environmental studies program coordinator;

Dr. Ogochukwu Onyiri, assistant professor of biology; Dr. Kunsoo Shim, associate professor of sport management; Hon. Bruce Singleton, associate professor of business; Dr. Joseph "Rocky" Wallace, associate professor of education; Dr. Billy Dale Wilson, associate professor of criminal justice.

The professors who received promotions are as follows, followed by their new academic title:

William Adams, professor of business; Dr. Lisa Allen, dean of the school of education and professor of education; Julie Ball, assistant professor of education; Neil Caldwell, assistant professor of social work; Rose Carter, assistant professor of business; Michele Dickens, dean for the school of nursing and professor of nursing;

Tammy Harris, assistant professor of nursing; Dr. Twyla Hernandez, professor of theology; Dr. Jeffrey Herron, associate professor of education; Ray Hollenbach, assistant professor of theology, Deborah Holt, assistant professor of education; Dr. Thomas Jeffrey, professor of business; Dr. Richard Kessler, professor of environmental science/environmental studies program coordinator;

Dr. Guy O'Neal, associate professor of theology; Dr. Tommy Valentine, associate professor of theology and director of the chapel, Conover Education Center; Justin Watson, assistant professor of theology; Shawn Williams, professor of political science; and Lauren Willis, associate professor of human performance/physical education.
