2012 May 15

Campbellsville University students are serving across Kentucky and across the globe during summer break. Students are serving at various church camps, interning in a church, serving on ministry teams and serving overseas.

Bradley Travis, a senior of Taylorsville, Ky., will serve as children's church coordinator at Grace Chapel Church in Taylorsville, Ky..

"Once again, many students at Campbellsville University are involved in carrying out the Great Commission in various points of service in Kentucky, the United States, and in other countries during the summer of 2012," the Rev. John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president, said.

"What a blessing and inspiration it is to see these young men and women connecting with various churches, missions organizations, camps, and other points of Christian service as they dedicate their summers to the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. All of us at Campbellsville University rejoice in the commitment of these students and will be praying for a tremendous harvest of lives for Jesus Christ as a result of their service," Chowning said.
