Madeline Hahn places at CU Annual Student Juried Art Show

Campbellsville University's Pence-Chowning Art Gallery is displaying its annual Juried Student Art Show through Wednesday, April 30. The Pence-Chowning Art Gallery is located at 205 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky. It is free of charge for anyone to visit the gallery and the Juried Student Art Show. Works of the following were accepted: painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design and other media. The juror for the competition was professional artist Page Candler. Prizes were awarded for each category and one was awarded the best of the show. Madeline Hahn of Cox's Creek, Ky. tied with Sarah Smith of Brownsville, Texas for third place in the drawing category with "Music for the Soul" and received an honorable mention for "Untitled." The Pence-Chowning Art Gallery is open: Mondays from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and from noon to 6 p.m.; Tuesdays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.; Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. until noon and from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to the free exhibit.
