Bell receives tenure at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville, KY (04/14/2021) — Dr. Tom Bell has received tenure at Campbellsville University.

Bell has been employed since 2011 at Campbellsville University as an associate professor of sport management.

Campbellsville University's faculty receive tenure from the university's tenure and promotions committee and academic committee of the university's Board of Trustees.

Bell is a 1977 graduate at Cleveland High School. In 1983 Bell graduated from California State University Northridge with his Bachelor of Arts. In 1985 he graduated from San Diego State University where he received his Master of Arts degree.

Bell received his Ph.D. from Florida State University in 1995. In 2003 he graduated from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary receiving his Master of Divinity degree.

Bell was an assistant professor at Liberty University from 2004 to 2008. He was also a director of sport management and associate professor at Bluefield College from 2009 to 2011.

He has belonged to several organizations including the American Association of Adapted Sports Programs and the North American Society for Sport Management. He has given numerous professional presentations.

He is the husband of Mi Hyun (Kay) Bell, international student advisor in the Center for Global Engagement at Campbellsville University. They have two children: Lydia and Jadyn.
