Campbellsville University faculty to participate in Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce

Campbellsville, KY (03/10/2021) — Want to take a bite of Bites of Wisdom?

Campbellsville University has partnered with the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce for an upcoming virtual training experience, Bites of Wisdom.

"Due to the pandemic, we are currently experiencing, it has made it difficult for businesses to operate and reach out, which has been impactful for those in the learning process," Kristin Davis, executive director of the Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce, said.

Dr. Karen Rush, Ph.D. faculty lead professor/professor of business, and Dr. Amanda Ewing, associate professor of business and economics, will speak Tuesday, March 16 at noon about "Maintaining Top Notch Customer Service."

Rush is on the counting committee at First Baptist Church at Somerset and also serves as campaign treasurer for the Hon. Bruce Singleton who serves as family court judge in Pulaski, Lincoln and Rockcastle counties.

Ewing has worked at Campbellsville University since 2008. She also has served at Toyoda Gosei Kentucky in Lebanon as a planner and production team member.

The Hon. Bruce Singleton, associate professor of business, will speak Wednesday, April 7 at noon about "The Future of Workplace Technology."

Singleton has practiced law for over 40 years in Somerset, Ky. and has been lead cyberlaw professor and business law professor at Campbellsville University since 2016. Singleton is a former Army officer, member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Board and winner of the National Legal Fiction Competition.

Dr. Preston Jones, professor of management, will speak on Thursday, April 15 at noon. His lecture will focus on "Keeping You Happy." Jones has also served as the Huizenga Business School's executive associate dean, executive director of master's programs, assistant professor of management and associate dean for academic affairs.

Dr. Rickey Casey, who spoke March 4 talked about "Keeping Your Audience Engaged." Casey is the associate dean, director for the Ph.D. program in management, and a professor of business.

"Bites of Wisdom with Dr. Rickey Casey was an excellent event and was the first in the series of our partnership with the Campbellsville University School of Business, Economics and Technology. We are very grateful for his time, and we look forward to the upcoming events," Davis said.
