Campbellsville University's School of Chiropractic receives accreditation
Campbellsville, KY (02/13/2025) — Campbellsville University's School of Chiropractic has received accreditation from the Council on Chiropractic Education.
The Council on Chiropractic Education is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as the accrediting body for chiropractic programs.
According to Dr. Trevor Foshang, CU's dean of chiropractic education, the accreditation marks a significant milestone for CU's School of Chiropractic.
"The School of Chiropractic effectively integrates foundational sciences with clinical skills, enhancing student learning and patient care," Foshang noted. "Our faculty, comprising highly skilled practitioners with extensive clinical experience, brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge to the classroom."
Foshang added the School of Chiropractic faculty excels in transforming theoretical knowledge into practical application. Above all, Foshang said the School of Chiropractic faculty are "deeply committed" to the well-being and success of students.
"They truly care, creating a nurturing environment that many describe as an exceptional culture," Foshang noted. "This culture of caring is not just a complement to our educational offering.
"It is the purposeful way in which we work with our students that transforms their experience into something truly unique, fostering not only academic and professional growth but also personal development and resilience."
Dr. Jeanette Parker, CU's provost and vice president for academic affairs, said about the accreditation, "While the School celebrates this achievement, its focus remains steadfast on continuous improvement and responsiveness to the evolving field of healthcare."
She added the School of Chiropractic's accreditation shows CU's "unwavering commitment to high standards in education."
"It grounds our institution in the enduring responsibility to provide education that is not only of the highest quality but also relevant and responsive to the needs of the healthcare industry," Parker noted. "This accreditation assures that our curriculum is continually assessed and enhanced to meet rigorous national standards set by peers, experts, and practitioners."
"It's a promise to our students, their future patients, and the communities we serve that the education they receive from Campbellsville University is robust and reliable," Parker stated. "The Campbellsville University community and its supporters are invited to share in this significant achievement as the school continues to advance and refine its programs to meet the needs of tomorrow's healthcare landscape."
CU President Dr. Joseph Hopkins said the School of Chiropractic's accreditation is a "profound recognition of the relentless hard work, dedication, and commitment of our faculty, staff, and administration."
"This accreditation serves as a cornerstone in our ongoing journey to uphold the highest educational standards, consistently reflecting the values and mission of Campbellsville University," Hopkins shared.
"The accreditation also underscores CU's commitment not merely to educate students but to prepare graduates of characters who are prepared to serve their communities with "integrity and excellence."
"We are dedicated to nurturing these values throughout our programs, ensuring that our educational impact is deep and enduring, resonant with the core values that define us as an institution," Hopkins said.
