Campbellsville University's Thomas to visit Indian universities to build partnerships

Campbellsville, KY (04/04/2025) — Peter Thomas, assistant vice president for global services and senior international officer for Campbellsville University, is visiting universities in India as part of an eight-day tour.

Thomas will make the visits to build relationships and partnerships with universities across the South Asian country. During these visits, he will hold meetings with the university's administration and interact with students.

He will begin his tour with a visit to KL University in Hyderabad. As a Category 1 University, conferred by India's University Grants Commission (UGC), KL University ranks among the top 30 institutions in India. KL University offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across nine disciplines, with over 150 value-added certificate courses that emphasize experiential learning and community service projects.

Thomas will also visit MNR University, which houses a School of Engineering & Technology and Artificial Intelligence, School of Clinical Research, Medical and Health Sciences and School of Physiotherapy. MNR University aims to educate, encourage and enable individuals to develop character, ethical values, knowledge, intellectual curiosity and scientific temper across a range of disciplines of Technical Education, Agricultural Education and Healthcare Education at one place.

Thomas will follow with a visit to the Talla Padmavathi College of Engineering, which was established in 2008 to provide technical manpower in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering.

Thomas will also visit SR University, which offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various disciplines, including engineering, sciences, business, agriculture, and design, and the School of Innovation and Management (SOIM College), which according to their bio seeks to "empower women through cutting-edge management education, innovation, and entrepreneurship."

Thomas will conclude his tour at Presidency University in Kolkata, which comprises seven schools, including the School of Engineering, School of Information Science, School of Management, School of Law, School of Design, School of Commerce and the School of Media Studies.
