Campbellsville University welcomes Maddala for Jan. 26 chapel service
Campbellsville, KY (01/25/2022) — Kamal Maddala, an evangelist from India, will speak at Campbellsville University's chapel service at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, in Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.
Maddala has been an ordained minister since 2009. He has also been a missionary evangelist since 2009.
According to his biography, Maddala is ordained under World Harvest Church of Paducah as an evangelist.
"Kamal is used by the Lord to minister across denominational walls," his biography said. "He has ministered all over the region as a guest speaker as well as a fill-in pastor. He has a heart to not only evangelize the lost but bring others along to teach them practical evangelism."
In India, Maddala's mother and father oversee 22 churches, 70 local pastors, a Christian orphanage, a Christian school for 200 children, a medical clinic, a Bible college and a trade school.
Maddala's wife, Chelsea, has worked in different ministry roles since she was 17. She has led teams on several mission trips across the world. She attended Teen Mania Ministries Honor Academy and received a certificate of completion for Christian leadership.
Mrs. Maddala, who is also an ordained minister, completed her Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Missions and Evangelism from Mid-Continent University. She is ordained under World Harvest Church of Paducah.
The Maddalas "work to reach and evangelize a lost and hurting people right here in the Bible Belt," their biography said.
They do one-on-one witnessing and also minister at local churches in Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio, Missouri and Indiana. They have also hosted several tent revivals over the last few years.
The Maddalas teach an evangelism curriculum designed to educate about the need to go outside the church walls to take the life-giving message of Jesus Christ to their neighbors.
The Maddalas lead teams to India to serve at a ministry campus and surrounding area.
"They have a heart to not only evangelize to the lost, but to mobilize believers and teach them practical evangelism," their biography said.
The Maddalas, who live in Paducah, Ky., have three children: Aiymen, Aletheia and Alexandria.
All chapels are open to the public free of charge and are televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 15) and are streamed live at wlcutv.com.
