Campus Ministries offering several ministry opportunities this semester

Campbellsville, KY (01/25/2022) — Campbellsville University's Office of Campus Ministries is offering several opportunities to dive deeper into the Word of God during the spring semester.

Forge Men's Ministry is a new study offered by Campus Ministries.

The study will "focus on providing men's ministry opportunities," Trent Creason, campus minister, said. The study kicked off Jan. 20 and will meet every Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The study will meet in the Tigers Den at the Student Activity Center, 106 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky, this week. Future locations are to be determined.

The Gather 78 Bible Study starts Jan. 24 and will meet from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays at Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, Ky. The student-led study will "provide a weekly opportunity that students can grow in the Word and in community together," Creason said.

Delight Ministries is a women's ministry that will meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursdays, at the Turner Log Cabin, 505 N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville. The program kicks off Jan. 20.

"Delight Ministries is a women's ministry opportunity that provides a weekly gathering of digging into the Word and building lasting relationships," Creason said. "Delight is led by a student leadership team that seeks to help disciple the campus."

The Vine, a weekly campus worship experience, is held at 8:30 p.m., every Tuesday, at Ransdell Chapel.

"This semester will be guided by a focus on the Book of Acts and how God worked through the early church and leads us to live as well," Creason said.

The Vine features a new guest speaker each week. Guest speakers consist of in and out-of-state ministers and alumni.

The university's Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter meets at 8 p.m., each Wednesday, in the Hawkins Athletic Center, Room 210, 205 Tiger Way, Campbellsville. Matt Atwood, assistant football coach, and his wife, Moriah Atwood, lead the ministry.
