Craig Morgan to perform at Campbellsville University's Ransdell Chapel Nov. 6
Campbellsville, KY (10/07/2021) — Country music singer Craig Morgan will take the stage in concert at Campbellsville University's Ransdell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville, at 8:30 p.m., EDT, Saturday, Nov. 6, as part of Green River Live.
According to his biography, Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV personality, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran.
Morgan has charted 25 songs on Billboard and has thrilled crowds with signature hits including "Bonfire," "Almost Home," "Redneck Yacht Club," "International Harvester," "This Ole Boy," "Wake up Loving You" and "That's What I Love About Sunday," which was at No. 1 for four weeks on Billboard.
In 2008, Morgan received one of country music's highest honors when he was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. Prior to starting his music career, Morgan spent 17 years serving in the United States Army as part of the 101st and 82ndAirborne Divisions. After launching his music career, he continued to serve in the Army Reserves for six and a half years.
Morgan's biography said he remains an avid supporter of America's military personnel and has made 16 overseas trips to perform for American military personnel. He is a recipient of the 2006 USO Merit Award and in 2018 received the Army's Outstanding Civilian Service Award-one of the highest awards the Department of the Army can bestow on a civilian-for his dedication to military service members around the world.
On May 22, Morgan released his first new music in nearly four years-his ninth album, "God, Family, Country." The album includes the song "The Father, My Son and The Holy Ghost," which is a faith-filled tribute to Morgan's son, Jerry, who died in 2016. The song reached No. 1 on iTunes All Genres Top Songs Chart.
Tickets, which can be purchased on ticketmaster.com, are $55 plus handling fees.
At this time, masks are required for all in-person gatherings on the Campbellsville University campus. The university follows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Commonwealth of Kentucky guidelines on best practices.
