Dr. Charles Crain receives tenure at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville, KY (11/04/2020) — Dr. Charles "Chuck" R. Crain has received tenure at Campbellsville University.

Crain, chair of the Louisville Education Center Graduate Business Programs and associate professor of business, has been employed at Campbellsville University since 2011.

Campbellsville University's faculty receive tenure from the university's tenure and promotions committee and academic committee of the university's Board of Trustees.

Crain is a 1984 graduate of LaRue County High School and graduated from McKendree University in 1991 with a business administration degree. In 2015, Crain graduated from Northcentral University earning a Doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management.

He obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management from Campbellsville University in 2009. Crain joined the CU faculty as an instructor in business in 2011.

Before joining Campbellsville University, Crain previously worked at Kentucky Community and Technical College in Elizabethtown as a facilitator and instructor for business and was in the automobile sales business for 18 ½ years.

He is married to Tina Crain and lives in Buffalo, Ky. They have one son, Joseph, and a grandson, Jack.
