Dr. Kimberly Mudd-Fegett receives promotion at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville, KY (03/31/2021) — Dr. Kimberly Mudd-Fegett has been promoted to associate professor of social work at Campbellsville University.

Mudd-Fegett has been employed full-time since 2016 at Campbellsville University as an assistant professor of social work.

Campbellsville University's faculty receive promotion from recommendations by the university's tenure and promotion committee and Administrative Council.

Mudd-Fegett is a 2000 graduate of Nelson County High School. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2003 with her Bachelor of Social Work degree. She graduated from the University of Louisville in 2005 with her Master of Social Work degree.

She received her Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Capella University, from which she graduated in August 2016. Her dissertation title was "Exploration of Child Welfare Through Action Research."

She is the wife of David J. Fegett, and they have one child, Peyton Cole Fegett. Her parents are Lenny and Helen Mudd of Bardstown, Ky.
