Dr. Nathl Moore, pastor of First African Baptist Church, to speak at Campbellsville University chapel Oct. 11
Campbellsville, KY (10/10/2023) — Dr. Nathl Moore, pastor of First African Baptist Church in Lexington, Ky., will speak at chapel at Campbellsville University.
Moore will speak at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2023 in Randsell Chapel, 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.
He surrendered to preach the gospel on Dec. 6, 1998 and became licensed to preach the gospel on Oct. 31, 1999. He was ordained into the pastoral ministry on Sept. 8, 2002 at the New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Moore and his wife, Evelyn Faye Scott Moore, a native of Pittsburgh, Penn., have four children.
Currently, he is serving as the 14th pastor of First African Baptist Church in Lexington.
Moore preached his first sermon as pastor on August 16, 2009, and was installed on October 18, 2009.
Moore has served many roles as an instructor, workshop leader and class facilitator for various local, state and regional conferences.
Moore, likewise, is the former Moderator of the Consolidated Baptist District Association and presently serves as the first vice moderator of the General Association of Baptists in Kentucky.
Moore has served on the Board of Trustees for Simmons College and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Lexington Theological Seminary.
He received his Master of Divinity Degree from Lexington Theological Seminary in May 2011 and his Doctor of Ministry at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations.
