Elisha Lawrence receives promotion at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville, KY (06/02/2021) — Dr. Elisha Lawrence has been promoted to associate professor of education at Campbellsville University.

Lawrence has been employed since 2015 with Campbellsville University and previously was an assistant professor of education.

Campbellsville University's faculty receive promotion from recommendations by the university's tenure and promotion committee and Administrative Council.

Lawrence is a 1998 graduate of Greenwood High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Kentucky University in 2002.

In 2003, she earned a Master of Arts degree in Elementary/Middle School Counseling. She also received a Master in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages in 2018 from Campbellsville University.

She received a Rank I from Western Kentucky Kentucky, an endorsement for teaching English as a Second Language and an endorsement for literacy specialist, both from Eastern Kentucky University.

She earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Eastern Kentucky University in 2019.

She is the wife of Jamie Lawrence, executive director of ministry and church outreach and campus minister at Campbellsville University. They have two children: Kaylee and Kellis Lawrence.
