Campbellsville, KY (02/18/2021) — Dr. Justy Engle, associate professor of English and athletic faculty representative at Campbellsville University, has been named to the Mid-South Conference (MSC) 2019-20 All-Faculty Team.
Engle said, "It's an honor to receive this honor two years in a row, and I am glad to be part of the team. I think it's important to seek to understand our students and student-athletes and in doing so learn how to best help them all become the best people they can be."
Coach Jim Hardy, director of athletics for Campbellsville University, said, "Dr. Engle is such an integral part of our athletic family here at CU. Her knowledge of NAIA by-laws and skill in interpreting policy is unmatched and very much appreciated.
"She also has been available to coaches to advise and mentor in terms of academic success and eligibility requirements. She really is so special and so deserving of this award."
Eric Ward, Mid-South Conference commissioner, said, "Faculty members from the 12 Mid-South Conference full-time institutions have been named to the 2019-20 Mid-South Conference All-Faculty Team."
The MSC All-Faculty Team was created during the 2018-19 academic year to celebrate faculty members, on an annual basis for their excellence in teaching and their continuing support of student-athletes.
"These 12 individuals represent some of the best educators in the Mid-South Conference," Ward said. He said their guidance and inherent ability to motivate and inspire are vital to the holistic success of our student-athletes.
"I applaud their efforts, especially during these challenging times, and thank them for their contributions to our institutions, our athletic departments and our conference," Ward said.
