Engle receives promotion at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville, KY (12/03/2020) — Dr. Justy Engle has been promoted to associate professor of English at Campbellsville University.

Engle has been employed since 2015 at Campbellsville University as an instructor in English.

Campbellsville University's faculty receive promotion from recommendations by the university's tenure and promotion committee and Administrative Council.

In 2019, Engle presented a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) lecture on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The public was invited to attend the free event. The QEP is a part of Campbellsville University's Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges' requirement.

Engle graduated from Bell County High School in 2004. Engle received her Ph.D. in Humanities in 2015, her Master of Arts Degree in Humanities in 2009, and her Bachelor of Arts in English and Humanities in 2008, all from the University of Louisville.

She specializes in medieval cultural studies and women's literature.

She is the daughter of Jay and Vicky Barnett of Pineville, Ky. Engle has a daughter, Selah Engle.
