Flanagan receives promotion at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville, KY (12/03/2020) — Dr. Valerie Flanagan has been promoted to associate professor of education at Campbellsville University in action approved recently by the Campbellsville University Board of Trustees.

Flanagan has been employed since 2016 at Campbellsville University as an assistant professor of education.

Campbellsville University's faculty receive promotion from recommendations by the university's tenure and promotion committee and Administrative Council.

Flanagan is a 1999 graduate of Adair County High School. She attended Lindsey Wilson College and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008 in education 5-9 and graduated in 2011 with her Master's in Education Teacher Leader. She graduated from the University of Cumberlands in 2015 with a Ph.D. in Leadership.

She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, international honor society in education.

She is the wife of Jason Flanagan. They have one child, Connor James Flanagan, and live in Lawrenceburg, Ky. She is the daughter of Sharon Palumbo of Columbia, Ky.
