Ichthus Music Festival returns to Servant Heart Farm Sept. 10

Campbellsville, KY (07/11/2022) — Ichthus Music Festival, which has celebrated Jesus Christ since 1970, is returning to Servant Heart Farm in Wilmore, Ky. Saturday, Sept. 10.

The festival, which will feature a full lineup of contemporary Christian artists and bands, will open its gates at 11 a.m., music will begin at noon with the final concert to end at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Servant Heart Farm is located at 9533 Harrodsburg Road, Wilmore, Ky.

Campbellsville University is a sponsor for this year's Ichthus Festival.

"Ichthus is a powerful Christian mission for Campbellsville University," Dr. H. Keith Spears, chancellor for university system advancement, said.

"It brings to young people, as well as their parents, quality contemporary Christian music in an atmosphere that develops the servant heart in all of us."

Joe and Cheryl Lycan are owners of Servant Heart Farm and operate The Beacon Foundation, the 501c3 organization that is producing Ichthus. Cheryl Lycan is the festival director and can be reached at info@ichthusfest.org.

"Ichthus was the first Christian music festival beginning in 1970," Joe Lycan said. "A legacy of salvation and discipleship was developed through that ministry.

"As owner of Servant Heart farm and director of the new Ichthus, we are celebrating Christ through music and taking the Christian music festival back to the cross of Jesus."

Ichthus is offering a special church youth group price until Aug. 1 of $20 per ticket.

"The youth are not the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today!" Jamie Lawrence, executive director of ministry and church outreach at Campbellsville University, said.

"I'm thankful for events like Ichthus Music Festival that will focus on taking it back to the cross, pointing this generation of young people to the only one who saves, Jesus Christ!"

Ichthus 2022 is a production of The Beacon Foundation in cooperation with Campbellsville University. The Sept. 10 event will be on Servant Heart Farm (the former Ichthus Farm) in Wilmore, Ky., the traditional home of Ichthus. Tickets are available at itickets.com.
