Rita Curtis receives promotion at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville, KY (06/02/2021) — Rita Curtis has been promoted to assistant professor of education at Campbellsville University.

Curtis has been employed since 2018 at Campbellsville University.

Campbellsville University's faculty receive promotion from recommendations by the university's tenure and promotion committee and Administrative Council.

Curtis has served as a certified CLASS observer. CLASS is a classroom assessment tool used to rate student/teacher interactions.

Curtis is enrolled in the doctoral program at the University of Oakland City in Oakland City, Ind. for her Doctor of Education degree. Curtis received her Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education in 2011 and Master's in Teacher Leader Master of Education with an Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education Specialty in 2016, both from Campbellsville University.

Curtis has traveled globally with Campbellsville University to Belize as part of an educational outreach program. Curtis presented at the first Early Childhood Conference in Belize. She has continued to provide workshops in Belize, China and Nigeria.

She is a Level 5 Early Childhood Credentialed Trainer.
