Robyn Sollberger, assistant director of financial aid at Campbellsville University, to be named new director in March
Campbellsville, KY (02/19/2020) — Robyn Sollberger, assistant director of financial aid at Campbellsville University, will be named the new director of financial aid on April 1, following the retirement of Chris Mapes, director of financial aid.
"Robyn, like Chris, cares about the students and will do a fantastic job as director," Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University, said. "We are looking forward to her leadership."
She is a member of the Kentucky Association of Student Financial Aid Administration (KASFAA), the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administration (SASFAA) and the National Administration of Student Financial Aid Administration (NASFAA).
As a member of KASFAA, Sollberger is serving as the private school sector representative from 2018 to 2021. She has been the newsletter editor since 2017 and has been a budget and finance committee member since 2017.
Sollberger has been in financial aid at Campbellsville University for eight years. She is the holder of 11 National Association of Student Financial Aid Administration credentials in: administrative capability, application process, cost of attendance, need analysis, packaging and notification of awards, professional judgement, return of Title IV finds, satisfactory academic progress, student eligibility, TEACH grants and verification.
"Robyn has been a great addition to the financial aid staff and will continue to help students in her new role as director," Tim Judd, vice president for finance (CFO), said. "She has the leadership qualities, attention to details, and passion for serving students that we need in the director role."
She has served as the treasurer of the Green River Memorial Baptist Church since 2010.
Sollberger received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis in 2003 and her Master's of Business Administration in 2007, both from Campbellsville University. She is a graduated of Taylor County High School.
Sollberger is married to Jeremy Sollberger. She has four children: Shelby, 23, and a Campbellsville University 2018 alumnae; Coltyn, 9; Braylen, 6; and Brysen, 6.
