Scott receives tenure at Campbellsville University

Campbellsville, KY (04/21/2021) — Dr. Harlan Scott has received tenure at Campbellsville University.

Scott has been employed at Campbellsville University since 2016. He is an associate professor of biology.

Campbellsville University's faculty receive promotions from the university's tenure and promotions committee and academic committee of the university's Board of Trustees.

Scott is a 1976 graduate of Waukegan West High School in Waukegan, Ill. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1980 from Monmouth College where he studied biology, chemistry and religious studies.

Scott received his Master of Science and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in microbiology.

Scott served as an associate professor of biology at Howard Payne University from 2002 until 2016 and an assistant professor of biology there from 1994 until 2000. He was assistant biotechnology at Nashville State Technical Institute from 2001 to 2002.
