Students in the Carver School of Social Work were inducted into Phi Alpha Honor Society among the awards given at the Carver School pinning ceremony Dec. 15 at Campbellsville Baptist Church.

"I want you to take Jesus with you when you go," Dr. Beverly Rowland, dean of Campbellsville University's School of Nursing and associate professor of nursing, said. Rowland spoke at the nursing pinning ceremony in Ransdell Chapel Dec. 14 when 11 students were recognized. Dr. Donna Hedgepath, provost and vice president for academic affairs, gave opening remarks for the ceremony and told the students to always have faith in everything they do and to keep hope close to their hearts.

"This world, our schools, need kindness. Where will it come from? It will come from you," Cullen Byrne, a Campbellsville University senior who was the salutatorian for December, said at Campbellsville University School of Education's pinning and hooding ceremony recently at Campbellsville Baptist Church.

At the most important event of the school year, graduates from Campbellsville University's School of Education were pinned and hooded at a ceremony held at Campbellsville Baptist Church.

Graduates of Campbellsville University's School of Business and Economics were honored with a hooding ceremony on May 8 in the Administration Building on campus.

"It's fair to say that no one really understands what nursing school is all about until you have been through it yourself," Misty Geary, Campbellsville University School of Nursing's class speaker, said recently at a pinning ceremony inside Ransdell Chapel on campus.

"This spring, Carver programs are contributing 51 new graduates to the field that helps people improve their lives," Dr. Darlene Eastridge, dean of Campbellsville University's Carver School of Social Work and Counseling, said during a pinning and hooding ceremony May 8 in The Gheens Recital Hall in the Gosser Fine Arts Center on campus.
